What's going on

Amazon Web Services (AWS) — the cloud platform that powers Benjamin and many other major apps — is currently experiencing a large-scale outage. This outage is causing some users to see slow loading, connection errors, or temporary app disruptions.

You might notice:

  • The app taking longer to open or load

  • Rewards or balances appearing delayed

  • Certain screens not refreshing as expected

Why this is happening

This isn’t an issue specific to Benjamin. AWS provides the infrastructure for thousands of apps and websites, and today’s outage is affecting many of them worldwide. AWS has acknowledged the issue and is actively working to restore full service.

What we're doing

Our engineering team is:

  • Closely monitoring AWS recovery progress

  • Verifying all Benjamin systems as they come back online

  • Preparing to reprocess any delayed actions, rewards or app updates once stability is confirmed

What you can do

There’s no action needed on your end.

  • If something looks delayed or missing, it should update automatically once AWS fully recovers.

  • If issues continue after the outage clears, please reach out through the in-app Help section so we can check on your account directly.

We appreciate your patience

We know how frustrating this kind of outage can be. Thanks for hanging in there while AWS restores their systems — and for being part of the Benjamin community.
