1. How does Plaid work with Benjamin?

Here’s what happens when you link your bank account in the Benjamin app via Plaid:

• Your bank account is securely verified without storing your bank login credentials, keeping your data private 
• Your transaction history is securely connected, so eligible purchases can be tracked for cash back
• You’re able to make withdrawals directly to your linked bank, so you get your money faster!

2. Is Plaid safe?

Yes, Plaid is a secure platform that is widely used by major financial institutions and apps.

Plaid secures data through:

• Advanced Encryption – Protects all transmitted data
• Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) – Ensures extra security when linking accounts
• Read-Only Access – Benjamin cannot move money from your account; Plaid only allows transaction tracking and verification

3. Can Benjamin access my bank credentials?

No. Benjamin never sees or stores your bank login credentials. Plaid handles all authentication, ensuring privacy and security.

4. What if my bank isn’t supported by Plaid?

If you can’t find your bank in Plaid’s system, you won’t be able to link it to Benjamin. In this case, we recommend that you try a different account that is supported by Plaid.
