How can I avoid tracking issues?

To ensure your rewards are properly tracked, follow these steps:

1. Always begin sessions in the Benjamin app

When earning rewards through shopping offers, gaming challenges, or surveys, make sure that you start the process directly from the Benjamin app.

  • For shopping cash back, always click on the offer inside the app before making a purchase.
  • For gaming offers, always download and open the game through Benjamin.
  • For surveys, always use the provided link to open and complete them.

2. Link your financial accounts 

To earn cash back on linked bank account purchases, make sure your credit or debit card is successfully connected to Benjamin prior to making any transactions. 

Notes:

  • If you just linked a card, please wait at least 24 hours to ensure it is registered. 
  • If a card is removed and re-added, it may take time to re-sync with the system.

3. Turn off VPN or private browsing

VPN and private browsing modes can prevent rewards from being properly tracked. To avoid issues:

  • Disable your VPN before completing a transaction.
  • Ensure cookies and tracking are enabled when shopping through the Benjamin extension.

4. Check offer terms & conditions

Every offer has its own requirements, which may include: 

  • Minimum purchase amounts 
  • Eligible payment methods (some offers exclude gift cards or third-party payment services like PayPal)
  • Offer expiration dates 
  • Exclusions and terms of cash back or rewards offers

5. Keep your device settings optimized

For gaming rewards and tracking-based offers, please make sure to:

  • Enable tracking permissions for the Benjamin app.
  • Ensure background activity is allowed so the app can register progress.

6. Check for transaction delays

Rewards can take time to appear due to merchant processing. If a reward doesn’t show up immediately:

  • Check the offer details for estimated tracking time.
  • Check your “Pending Rewards.”
  • If an offer is still missing after the expected timeframe, please contact Member Services.
