Why are my rewards pending?

When you earn rewards through Benjamin, they may appear as “Pending” before they become available for withdrawal. This ensures transactions are properly validated before funds are added to your account.

Benjamin receives compensation from its Partners, Participating Brands, and Participating Merchants, and we rely on receiving this compensation to fund your Rewards.  

When will my rewards become available to claim?:

The timeframe for your rewards to become available to claim will vary depending on the partner, their policies and reporting schedules, the nature of the transaction, and other fraud risk factors. 

Once Rewards update from pending to available, those Rewards will become eligible for redemption ("Eligible Rewards").

Common reasons why rewards may be pending:

Merchant verification

For cash back rewards earned from purchases, the store must confirm that the transaction meets the eligibility requirements before sending your cash back. This can take anywhere from a few days to several weeks, depending on the store's processing time.

Gaming offers and surveys

For gaming rewards, your progress must be verified to ensure you have completed the required tasks. Some game rewards are unlocked instantly, while others take longer. Similarly, survey rewards may take some time to process, especially if a survey provider needs to verify responses before approval.

Receipt scanning and purchase tracking

When you upload a receipt, the system must verify that it is a valid transaction and matches an eligible cash back offer. This process can take up to 48 hours and may take longer if additional review is needed.

High-value rewards and security checks

For large reward payouts, additional security checks may be required to ensure that all earning conditions have been met. These reviews are done to keep the platform fair, safe, and secure.
