Why am I missing a reward?

Here’s what to do if you think a reward is missing:

  • Double-check the “Pending Rewards” section in the app
  • Review the offer terms to ensure all conditions were met.
  • If the expected timeframe for a pending reward has passed and the reward is still missing, contact Member Services. 

Most missing rewards fall into one of the following categories:

1. The reward is still processing 

Some rewards take time to process before they become available. Check the “Pending Rewards” section in the Benjamin app to see the processing time for rewards in progress.

    • Gaming rewards may take up to 48 hours to track.
    • Shopping cash back can take 7–30 days, depending on the store’s verification process.
    • Surveys and receipt scanning rewards normally process within 24–48 hours.

2. The transaction did not meet the offer conditions 

Here are some common reasons why an offer might not qualify:

  • Gaming offers: You must start and complete the challenge through Benjamin. Rewards are only eligible to members who download games through Benjamin (example below).
  • Shopping cash back: You must activate the offer through Benjamin before making the purchase. Using certain payment methods (e.g., gift cards, PayPal, or Apple Pay) may also void the cash back.
  • Receipt scanning: Your purchase must match an eligible offer, and the receipt details (store, date, and items) must be clear and readable.

3. The reward was not properly tracked

Tracking issues can occur due to:

  • Using a VPN or private browsing, which may block tracking data.
  • Not allowing tracking permissions on your device when completing a gaming or shopping offer.
  • Closing the app or switching tabs before completing an action, which may interrupt the tracking process.

To prevent tracking issues, make sure to:

  • Always start offers through the Benjamin app.
  • Disable VPNs or private browsing.
  • Allow tracking permissions when prompted.
  • Keep the app open and active when completing offers.

4. The reward has been canceled

In some cases, a reward might be rejected by the merchant or provider due to:

  • A returned or canceled purchase (for shopping cash back).
  • Survey disqualification (if the provider flags the response as incomplete or inconsistent).
  • Multiple accounts or suspicious activity, which violates Benjamin’s reward policies.
